Seminal Grants: 1959-1984 (pre-endowment)


The Counselling Foundation of Canada provided nearly 50 grants in the period from 1959 to 1984. Here is a sample of the most significant investments it made in this time.


Supporting the creation of Post-Secondary Career Centres: York University/College Glendon, Dalhousie University, Fanshawe College, George Brown College, Memorial University of Newfoundland, Niagara College, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, Sir Sanford Fleming College, Trent University, University of New Brunswick, University of Waterloo, University of Western Ontario,
Wilfrid Laurier University.

Grants to Third Sector Agencies: YMCA of Greater Toronto,
Cedar Glen Conference Centre, Toronto Institute of Human Relations.
